Room Jageunsarang and Jwawuikrang were initially built in the 21st year of King Jeongjo(1797) by Jijungchubusa(지중추부사, 知中樞府事) Ryu Sachun, father of Ryu Yijwa, who was Yejo·Hojo Champan and high government position named Chogyemunsin at King Jeongjo·Sunjo era.
Anchae, Keunsarang, Daemungan, Sadang was built in the 13th year of the King Cheoljong(1862) by Seukho Ryu Doseong, who is a grandson of Ryu Sachun and Gyeongsang-do governor.
This house is the biggest one in Hahoe Village with rooms called Anchae, Sarangchae, Keunsarangchae, Daemunganchae, and Sadang, which is the typical Sadaebu house.
Bukchondaek House has been holding the Susinwa spirit(須愼窩: to be humble and consider neighbors in need) until today. Susinwa is the pen name of Seokho Ryu Doseong.
