of Hahoe history

The nickname of Bukchondaek is Hwakyeongdang and it is designated as Important Folklore Cultural Heritage No. 84.

Bukchondaek House was built in 1797(21st year of King Jeongjo) and it is located in UNESCO World Heritage site Andong Hahoe Village. The house is preserved in the traditional 72 rooms Sadaebu Historic House of over 220 years of history.

Since the heating system is its original wood burning method(Ondol), you can experience the Joseon dynasty's lifestyle.

Modern bathroom and toilet is located in Byeolchae. Traditional Korean style breakfast is included in the room rate.

Also, after breakfast, head descendent will guide the Bukchondaek House and Hanok to share the detailed information about the house.
